Insect Bites and Stings

Young dogs love to chase insects and so are particularly liable to be stung occasionally. While usually this is relatively harmless, there is always the risk of anaphylactic shock resulting from bee or wasp stings, in which case veterinary help must be obtained immediately. For minor bites or stings such as stinging nettles, first clean the site with purifying Garlic Juice and give Homoeopathic Urtica Urens 30C every half hour until the irritation is relieved.
