Calling (In season queens)

Queens that are not going to be mated, particularly the foreign breeds, are prone to frantic behaviour during the call. Give Scullcap & Valerian tablets at the treatment dose for one week to reduce anxiety and keep them calm. During this period queens may lose their appetite and as a result condition and bodyweight may affected. Malted Kelp Tablets should be given to increase the appetite following the call if this should occur.
